Wireless Deployment Engineer

Red River is seeking an exceptional individual for this addition to our Growing Wireless team.
The Wireless Deployment Engineer's primary responsibility is to provide effective network and Wireless installation and administration services for Red River's growing Northeast customer base. The Wireless Deployment Engineer will provide front-line Engineering services for customers and assist our Professional Services Operations team during installations at customer sites primarily in the NE area. Additionally, the Wireless Deployment Engineer will work closely with existing technical staff to support Red River's Managed Services customers and internal infrastructure. For the right individual, this position has significant growth potential.
Support, Troubleshoot, Install, and Configure routers and switches
Support, Troubleshoot and Install Wireless and related technologies
Develop network and Wireless configuration documentation for customers
Ensure security protocols across the network platform
Maintain industry certifications as required
Travel to regional customer sites as required to support Red River business initiatives
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA-Wireless) or Professional with Wireless specialization (CCNP-Wireless)- Required
Understanding of network routing and switching protocols
Understanding of Cisco unified wireless architecture and hardware
Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 protocols
Wireless site survey experience
Wireless LAN deployment experience
Airmagnet software experience a plus
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
